Karima Adebibe (also known as Karima McAdams, born 14 February 1985) is an English actress and model.[1][2][3]

Life and career[change | change source]

Adebibe was born in Bethnal Green, in Tower Hamlets, London, England and brought up in Tangier. She then again went back to the UK.[4][5]

Initially she worked as a secretary. In 2006, Adebibe was selected as the seventh model of Lara Croft, the fictional character in the video game series Tomb Raider.[6][7][8] As the actress for the character she promoted the game series by demonstrating typical characteristics of the character like martial arts and elocution.[9][10][11][12][13] She ceased to perform as the character in 2008. Adebibe was featured in the hot list of the British magazine Zoo.[14]

She also appeared in a role of the 2004 movie Alien vs. Predator. In 2009 she appeared in the movie Frontier Blues.[15][16][17]
