Katie G. Dorsett

Katie G. Dorsett (July 8, 1932 – July 6, 2020) was a Democratic American politician. She was a member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's twenty-eighth Senate district from 2003 to 2010. She was the Majority Whip in the Senate. Dorsett was born in Shaw, Mississippi.

Dorsett died on July 6, 2020 in Greensboro, North Carolina at the age of 87.[1]
