Keith Chegwin

Keith Chegwin (17 January 1957 – 11 December 2017) was an English television presenter and actor. He was nicknamed "Cheggers". He was best known as the presenter of the BBC children's game show Cheggers Plays Pop and the Channel 5 comedy game show It's a Knockout. He played Fleance in the Roman Polanski movie Macbeth (1971).

Chegwin was born in Walton, Liverpool, Lancashire. He was married to Maggie Philbin from 1982 to 1993. He married Maria Fielden in 2000. He had two children, a daughter Rose and a son Ted.

Chegwin died of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis on 11 December 2017 in Shropshire. He was 60.[1]
