Kevin Faulconer

Kevin Lee Faulconer (born January 24, 1967) is an American politician. He was the mayor of San Diego, California from March 2014 until December 2020. From 2006 to 2014, he served as a member of the San Diego City Council. He is a Republican.

Faulconer unsuccessfully ran for Governor of California in the unsuccessful 2021 recall election and in the 2022 election against Governor Gavin Newsom both times.[1][2]

Faulconer was born in San Jose, California. He grew up in Oxnard.[3]
