On October 3, 2022, Percy Lapid is a radio broadcaster and radio journalist, was found with a gunshot wound in head on his home in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines.[1]

Percival Carag Mabasa (March 14, 1959 – October 3, 2022), also known as Percy Lapid is a professionally Filipino journalists and radio journalists, He is on set in the radio program Lapid Fire at DWBL.[2]

He is also radio reporter and commentator since in 1980s for DZME, DWBC, DZRM, DWIZ.[3]

Lapid was killed on 3, October 2022 at around 8:30 pm (UTC+8) while he was returning home while he was returning home, The two motorcycle riders got off near Lapid's car and they shot him inside the car.[4]

His vehicle was about 50 meters (160 ft) from the gate.[5]
