"Koiren Leima" (Meitei: ꯀꯣꯢꯔꯦꯟ ꯂꯩꯃ), also known as "Leinung Yuchakha Chanu"[1] (Meitei: ꯂꯩꯅꯨꯡ ꯌꯨꯆꯥꯈꯥ ꯆꯅꯨ) or "Ayangleima" (Meitei: ꯑꯌꯥꯡꯂꯩꯃ), is the name of the consort of Thangjing[2][3], the presiding deity of Ancient Moirang[4], a province in Ancient Manipur.[5][6] There are two goddesses, Ayangleima Ahal and Ayangleima Atonpi, who are the first and the second wives of the god respectively.[7][8] Their accounts are mentioned in the Moirang Ningthourol Lambuba, the royal chronicle of Ancient Moirang.[9]
