Kota Watanabe (渡辺 皓太, Watanabe Kota, born October 18, 1998) is a Japanese football player.

Biography[change | change source]

Watanabe was born in Kawasaki on October 18, 1998. He joined J2 League club Tokyo Verdy from their youth team in 2016. He played 90 matches for the club in 4 seasons. In August 2019, he moved to J1 League club Yokohama F. Marinos. Yokohama won the J1 champions in 2019.

In May 2019, Watanabe was selected the Japan national team for 2019 Copa América, but he did not play in the match.
