Kucha (Uyghur: كۇچار‎, simplified Chinese: 龟兹; traditional Chinese: 龜茲; pinyin: Qiūcí[1]) was an ancient Buddhist kingdom in Xinjiang (East Turkestan).

It was on the Silk Road.
