Kurmanjan Datka

Kurmanjan Datka (1811 - February 1, 1907, died at age 95-96) also known as "The Tsaritsa of Alai" or "The Queen of the South" was a Kyrgyz politician who accepted under violence to the annexation of of Kyrgyzstan to Russia.[1] In 2014, the film Queen of the Mountains (film) was a biography movie dedicated to her that centers around her life.[2]
