Kurt Thomas (gymnast)

Kurt Bilteaux Thomas (March 29, 1956 – June 5, 2020) was an American Olympic gymnast. He was born in Miami, Florida.[1] Thomas became a member of the U.S. Olympic team at the 1976 Summer Olympics. In 1978, Thomas was the first American male gymnast to win a gold medal in floor exercise in a world championship.

Thomas died of stroke-related problems at a hospital in Frisco, Texas on June 5, 2020 at the age of 64.[2]
