(Redirected from Lahore Stadium)
The Gaddafi Stadium is a cricket ground in Lahore, Pakistan and the home of Lahore Qalandars and Lahore Whites. Originally known as the Lahore Stadium, it was renamed as the Gaddafi Stadium in 1972, in honour of Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi.[1] A 2024 proposal to rename it as the "Bank of Punjab Stadium" was declined by the Punjabi government.[2]
The stadium is owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Extensive renovation work was completed in February 2025.[3] The work raised the capacity from 27,000 to 35,000, and the Gadaffi is now the largest cricket stadium in Pakistan.[4][5]
