Lawrence Douglas Lamb (born 1 October 1947) is a British actor. He was born in Edmonton, London. His most notable television roles include Jonathan Fox in the ITV Police drama series The Bill (2004–2005), Mick Shipman in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey (2007–2010, 2019), and Archie Mitchell in BBC soap opera EastEnders (2008–2010). His son, George Lamb (born 1979), is a television and radio presenter.
