Leon Gorman

Leon A. Gorman (December 20, 1934 – September 3, 2015) was an American businessman and philanthropist. He was the President (1967–2001) and Chairman (2001–2013) of the bard for the clothing company L.L.Bean. He had a reported net worth of $860 million, and, until his death, was the richest person in Maine. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Gorman died from cancer on September 3, 2015 in Yarmouth, Maine, aged 80.[1]
