The leopard danio (Brachydanio rerio or Brachydanio frankei) is a species of freshwater fish. They are native to India.

The leopard danio is an active fish that likes to live in shoals (groups). They are peaceful fish. They are often kept in community fish tanks. They grow to about 40–50 mm.[1] They like to live in a water temperature of about 18–25 °C.[1]

Diet[change | change source]

Leopard danios are omnivores. In the wild, they mostly eat invertebrates.[1] In tanks, they can eat bloodworms, brine shrimp and flake foods.
