A leotard is a skin-tight one-piece garment that covers the torso. Leotards are often worn by acrobats, gymnasts, dancers, circus performers and figure skaters. They are worn by both males and females. The garment is named after Jules Léotard, who developed it.

Leotards can have short sleeves, long sleeves, or no sleeves.
