Les Stroud

Les Stroud (born October 20, 1961) is a Canadian filmmaker, musician, writer, television actor, host, television director and producer, and survival expert who is known for his survival show Survivorman.

Stroud was born on October 20, 1961 in Mimico, Ontario.[1] He was raised in Toronto, Ontario. He studied at Mimico High School and at Fanshawe College. Stroud was married to Susan Jamison from 1994 until they divorced in 2008. They had two children.
