Lisette Melendez

Lisette Melendez (born 1967 or 1976) is a Puerto Rican freestyle music and Latin pop singer.[1] She is best known for the 1991 song Together Forever. Her exact birthdate is not clear, with some sources claiming Melendez was born as far back as 1967 or 1968. Others mention that she was born as recently as 1976.[2] She was raised in East Harlem in New York City.[3]

In Japan, Melendez won a Grammy for the Best New Artist. This was for her 1994 studio album True to Life.
