Loch Dionard is a loch in Sutherland in the Highland Council Area in northern Scotland.[1][2][3] It is in the North-Western Highlands four miles south of Polla.

The name may be from dyn-fjordr, 'noisy-firth.'[4]

The first mentions of Loch Dionard were in the late 16th or early 17th Century with the Loch being mapped and named as Dynard.[5][6]
