Lovelock is a city in Nevada. It lies in Pershing County and is the only incoroprated city in the county. In 2000, 2003 people lived there. There's a medium-security prison. There is also a train station. Settlers on their way to California used to stop in Lovelock. Today, the city's economy is mostly based on farming and mining. There's also a little tourism.
