Luigi Manconi (born 21 February 1948) is an Italian academic, journalist and politician. He was a Member of Senate of the Republic between 1994 until 2001 and again from 2013 until 2018. He was nominated by the Italian Parliament as a candidate for President of Italy in the 2022 elections.[1][2]
