Makkal Needhi Maiam

Makkal Needhi Maiam (Translation: People's Justice Centre), is an Indian political party in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and union territory of Puducherry. It was founded by famous actor Kamal Haasan.[1] This party was started (launched) in a public meeting at Madurai in 2018 February 21. He also launched his party flag in the meeting. The flag has a symbol with six hands locked with one another. This symbol represents the co-operation between the South Indian states (5 States and 1 Union Territory).[2]
