Malawimonada (order Malawimonadida) is a phylum of microorganisms. They occupy a basal position in the evolutionary tree of eukaryotes.
Description
[change | change source]Malawimonada is a group of biflagellate, free-living protozoans in freshwater or soil.
Phylogeny
[change | change source]The malawimonads are similar to ancyromonads.
