Margots is a historic house near Tettington, Virginia. It is also called Eagle's Nest, Eagles Lodge, or Claybancke. It was built around the year 1700.
The house was first built with one and a half stories and was made of brick. In the 1800s, a second floor made of wood was added on top. The house is about 44 feet long and 20 feet wide. It is one of the few houses of its size from that time still standing in the Tidewater area of Virginia.
In 1973, the land was sold to the Virginia government to be used for nature and wildlife. That same year, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places because of its long history.
