Mario A. Segale (April 30, 1934 – October 27, 2018) was an American businessman and real estate developer. He was born in Seattle, Washington. He was involved in mant development projects in the Seattle area beginning in the 1950s. Nintendo's Mario character is named after him because he owned the land where Nintendo's earliest headquarters was in.
