Marisa Pavan (born Maria Luisa Pierangeli; 19 June 1932 – 6 December 2023) was an Italian actress. She was known as the twin sister of actress Pier Angeli. She was born in Cagliari, Sardinia.
Her first movie role was in The Rose Tattoo (1955). Her performance earned a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also won the Golden Globe Award.
She also starred in Diane (1956), The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit (1956), The Midnight Story (1957) and John Paul Jones (1959).
In 1956, Pavan married French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont. They were married until his death in 2001. They had two sons.
Pavan died on 6 December 2023 at her home in Saint-Tropez, France at the age of 91.
