Davis Passfield (born 20 August 1990) is an Australian professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and their sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). He is a member of the Don Callis Family stable.
Davis has also appeared in Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Davis is also known for being one-half of the tag team Aussie Open and part of United Empire stable.
Davis has won many championships during his career. In NJPW, he was a one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion, two-time and the first Strong Openweight Tag Team Champion, and the co-winner of the Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship Tournament with Kyle Fletcher. In ROH, he is a one-time ROH World Tag Team Champion.
Career

[change | change source]On the 8 June episode of Dynamite, Davis as a member of Aussie Open along with Aaron Henare made his debut for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). They ran-in and helped Will Ospreay in an attack on FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Hardwood) and Trent Beretta.[1] On the 10 June edition of Rampage, Davis made his AEW in-ring debut, teaming with Fletcher and Ospreay in a loss to FTR and Trent Beretta.[2] United Empire then entered a tournament to crown the first AEW World Trios Champions. On the 24 August episode of Dynamite, they defeated Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) in the first round.[3] They fought The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) in the semi finals on the 31 August episode of Dynamite but lost.[4]
On the 24 May 2023, it was announced by AEW owner Tony Khan that Aussie Open had signed contracts to become members of the roster.[5] At Death Before Dishonor, Aussie Open won a four-way tag team match to become the new ROH World Tag Team Champions.[6] They lost the championships to Better Than You Bay Bay (MJF and Adam Cole) at All In: Zero Hour.[7]
At WrestleDream, Aussie Open challenged FTR for their AEW World Tag Team Championships but were unsuccessful.[8] After the match, it was revealed that Davis suffered an injury and was taking time off to heal.
On the October 30, 2024 episode of Dynamite, Davis made a surprise return to AEW and called out Fletcher for joining the Don Callis Family and betraying his former partner Will Ospreay.[9]
On 5 February 2025 episode of Dynamite, Davis turned heel, joined the Don Callis Family, and made his AEW in-ring singles debut in a loss to Will Ospreay.[10]
