Mathematics education

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mathematics education is the field of study that focuses on teaching and learning multifarious branches of mathematics from beginner to advanced levels. Its chief objective is to help students nurture their abilities of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Physical mathematics education is centered on traditional, in-person pedagogical practices, which occur in the classroom environment and other established educational institutions. The direct teacher-student interaction, using textbooks and written exercises, and using formal classroom discussions, define this modality. The method achieves prompt feedback, facilitates structured learning conditions, and in stills problem-solving among learners.

Online mathematics education uses digital technologies, such as online classrooms, prerecorded lectures, online interactive platforms, and online learning software, to offer mathematical education. This layout allows the learners to study remotely, at a pace convenient to them.[1] Besides, it also offers the resources, including simulations and online assessments, that improve understanding and refine learners' skills.
