Max Osceola Jr.

Max Osceola Jr. (August 13, 1950 – October 8, 2020) was a leader of the Native American Seminole Tribe of Florida. Osceola was an elected representative on the Seminole Tribal Council from 1985 through 2010. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel called Mr. Osceola “one of the tribe’s longest-serving and most powerful politicians.” He died on October 8, 2020 of COVID-19 at the age of 70.[1]
