Media is a ghost town in Douglas County, in the U.S. state of Kansas.[2]

The first settlement at Media was made in 1878.[3] Media was located on the Kansas City, Lawrence & Southern Kansas Railroad.[3] A post office was created in Media in 1878. It stayed until 1903.[4] Media merged into present-day Baldwin City.
