Meg Cabot (born Meggin Patricia Cabot on February 1, 1967) is an American writer. She writes romantic and paranormal fiction for teenagers and adults.[1] She has published over fifty books.[2] She is best known for The Princess Diaries. A movie was made based on that book.[1]

Cabot was born in Bloomington, Indiana.[2]
