Međimurje County is a county in the northernmost part of Croatia. The county seat is Čakovec. Other cities are Prelog and Mursko Središće.

Međimurje County covers the plains between two rivers – the Mura and the Drava. There are two reservoir lakes on the Drava – Lake Varaždin and Lake Dubrava. Lake Dubrava is the biggest artificial lake in Croatia and the second largest lake overall in the country.
