Michael Giacchino (/əˈkn/; born October 10, 1967) is an American composer. He has won an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and three Grammy Awards.

He is known for his works with J. J. Abrams, Brad Bird, Matt Reeves, Pete Docter, Colin Trevorrow, Jon Watts, Drew Goddard, Gareth Edwards, and The Wachowskis.

His movie scores include Mission: Impossible III, Super 8, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Incredibles, Incredibles 2, Ratatouille, Up, Cars 2, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World, Inside Out, Zootopia, Star Trek Beyond, Doctor Strange, Rogue One, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Coco, War for the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Batman.[1]

He also composed the score of the video game series Medal of Honor and Call of Duty.
