Michael George Murphy (born May 5, 1938) is an American movie, stage, voice and television actor who is known for his roles as Yale Pollack in Manhattan and as the Mayor in Batman Returns. He has won an Gemini Award.
Murphy was born on May 5, 1938 in Los Angeles, California.[1] He studied at the University of California at Los Angeles. Murphy was married to Wendy Crewson from 1988 until they divorced in 2009. They had two children.
