Michihiko Kano

Michihiko Kano (鹿野道彦, Kano Michihiko, 24 January 1942 – 21 October 2021) was a Japanese politician. He was a member of the Democratic Party of Japan. He was Minister of Agriculture from 2010 until 2012.[1][2][3] He was a member of the National Diet from 1976 until 1979 and again from 2005 until 2012.

Kano was born in Yamagata.[4] He died on 21 October 2021 at a Yamagata hospital from problems caused by polycythemia, aged 79.[5]
