Mihai Ghimpu (born 19 November 1951) is a Moldovan politician. He was Speaker of Parliament and Acting President of Moldova from 2009 to 2010. He was member of Parliament of Moldova from 1990 to 1998 and from 2009 to 2019.

Ghimpu was the leader of the Liberal Party from 1998 to 2018.
