Michael Andrew Fisher (born June 5, 1980 in Peterborough, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He currently plays for the Nashville Predators of the NHL (NHL). Fisher also played for the Ottawa Senators and played 10 seasons also becoming the assistant captain for them.

On July 10, 2010, Fisher married country music singer, Carrie Underwood after proposing to her on December 20, 2009.[1] He is a devout Christian.[2]

In 2016 after the former Nashville Predators captain, Shea Weber, was traded, he was made captain of the team.
