Mike Swigunski (born 1988) is a bestselling author, remote work leader, and founder of Global Career.[1] He is also a contributor to Forbes and Entrepreneur magazines.

Mike did Bachelor of Science & Administration (BSBA) in Finance and Banking; Real Estate; Business from University of Missouri-Columbia and MBA from Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea.

Mike started his career as an intern in Ireland’s Governing political party's headquarters in Dublin, Ireland for Fianna Fáil in 2010. In the following year, he joined Czech University of Life Sciences Prague as a lecturer and seminar leader of Financial Economics and English for Information Technology.[2]

In 2012, he joined Wells Fargo in Greater St. Louis Area and then QuirQy in Sydney, Australia in 2013. Mike also worked as a Travel Writer for the GFN Radio Network for a short period. From 2016 to 2020, he worked in Empire Flippers as a Senior Marketing Strategist.[3] During this time he founded SwigMeetsWorld.com, a travel and photography blog.[4]

After more than a decade of working remotely and internationally in more than 100+ countries, he founded GlobalCareer.io, an international job board for remote workers in 2018.[5]
