Mills College at Northeastern University

Mills College[1] was the first historically women's college to accept transgender students. The college was located in Oakland, California. It contained a women-only undergraduate school, as well as a co-ed graduate school. Mills College was acquired by Northeastern University in 2022 and no longer exists. Notable alumni include Barbara Lee.
Mills lives on through the Mills Institute at Northeastern University, and through various Alumni groups such as the Mills College Club of New York.
