Minions: The Rise of Gru is an upcoming movie. It was originally meant be released in the United States on VOD July 3, 2020,[1] but the original release date was delayed to July 3, 2020 due to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.[2][3][4][5] It will be the prequel and spin-off of the Despicable Me movie series.

It was announced that LEGO will be releasing toys similar to the movie.[6]
