Minnetonka is a suburb in Hennepin County, Minnesota. It is 9 miles to the west of Minneapolis. It is the fourteenth largest city in Minnesota. The name Minnetonka comes from the Dakota Sioux mni tanka, and it means "great water". It has a population of 53,781 as of the 2020 census.[2]
