Modal dispersion

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Modal Dispersion occurs when light travels at different times across fibre optic cables due to light traveling at different distances. This is caused in wider cables where light can be reflected in walls a lot (more distance) or they can go straight line (shortest distance).
