Mohamed Hashim Mohd Ali

Tun Mohamed Hashim bin Mohd Ali (10 April 1937 – 1 October 2025) was a Malaysian military officer. He was the Chief of Defence Forces from 1987 to 1992 and the Chief of Army from 1985 to 1987. He was the brother of Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, who is the wife of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

Hashim Mohd Ali died at the age of 88 on 1 October 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.[1]
