Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar

Mohammad Ali Shah was a Shah from the Qajar dynasty (1907-1909). He opposed the constitutional reform and attempted to abolish the Persian constitution by declaring martial law, therefore dissolving the Parliament.

When Mohammad Ali Shah attempted to overthrow the majles with Russian aid, its members forced him to abdicate in favor of Ahmad Shah (r. 1909–1925).[1]
