Morton Community Unit School 709 is a unit school district in Morton, Illinois. it was founded in 1970. The school superintendent is Dr. Craig Smock since 2022.[1] It has seven schools, including Morton High School, Grundy Elementary School, Morton Academy, Jefferson Elementary School, Lettie Brown Elementary School, Lincoln Elementary School and Morton Junior High School.
