The Muiderslot

The Muiderslot is a castle-museum in the Netherlands, in Muiden. It is 15 kilometres (9.3 miles) southeast of Amsterdam. It is one of the better known castles in the Netherlands.

The castle was built in 1280 by Floris V. Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft used to live there.
