Mukund Lath

Mukund Lath (9 October 1937 – 6 August 2020) was an Indian scholar and cultural historian. He was known for his writings on music, dance, aesthetics and culture of India.[1][2] He was honored by the Government of India, in 2010, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri.[3] Lath was born in Kolkata.

Lath died on 6 August 2020 in Jaipur at the age of 82.[4]
