Myraida Chaves (12 March 1960 - 22 April 2021) was a Puerto Rican actress, producer and television host and director of the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas.[2][3][4][5] Among the television shows she hosted was Juventud 83.[6]

Chaves was the daughter of actress Awilda Carbia.

Chaves died from cancer on 22 April 2021, aged 61.[2]
