NPC is a meme. NPC is sometimes called NPC Wojak. The NPC meme is normally used to express that people who like the political left do not think for themselves.[1][2][3][4][5] The NPC meme looks similar to the Wojak meme.[6] The NPC meme was made in July 2016 by an unknown person.[6] The first NPC meme was uploaded to the website 4chan, and the idea behind the meme was explained there.[6] The NPC meme is famous, and has been shown on many news websites, for example on The New York Times,[4] The Verge,[3] BBC[7] and Breitbart News Network.[8]
