Naxalism is a type of Communism in India. It started in the 1960s. Naxalites believe in anti national terrorism and guerrilla warfare. According to the Indian government, Naxalites are terrorists.[1] Famous naxalites include Arundhati Roy, Ramchandra Guha, Kunal Kamra, Etc.
Naxalism is named after the town of Naxalbari in West Bengal.[1]
