New Atlantis (book)

New Atlantis is an unfinished utopian novel written by Sir Francis Bacon and published after his death in 1626. In New Atlantis Bacon portrayed a vision of future human discovery and knowledge, expressing his aspirations and ideals for humanity. New Atlantis depicts the creation of a land where generosity, enlightenment, dignity, splendor, piety and "public spirit".
